Terra Madre - Northcote

To be honest, we're going in here for a few things we can't get anywhere, or if we happen to come by. they seem to have good deals, although they should always check their acknowledgement, as we almost every time we were overloaded. the fresh veg is pricier, I understand it, it is fresh and perhaps organic? problem is that it is not as good quality as I can pay half the price for coles or iga. I like to pay more, but it must be at least quality. they often want to check their pockets, maybe because the people use pockets instead of baskets to get their food? and in the rule someone waited at the door as a watchman. the last few times that we are the check-out staff are also very atmospheric or aloof, as if they all get better somewhere. the mood of the place is not great. it's cramped, we run into certain areas to grab the few good deals we sometimes have and then go, no real customer service and if I didn't have to go there, I wouldn't disturb. update for March 2022: still overloaded items at the cash register. watch what they have been through and correct! I hate to think how many people were conserved from their dollars because they do not watch the price of the dinge that go through the! also an avocado for $4.99?! updated by previous review on 2022-03-29

Many vegan choices, very reasonable price. good product range.

Terra madre undoubtedly has an amazing selection of vegan products as well as competitive prices. it has in size from a small organic store to a super market, but still trade on its local image. it has become super popular with inner city dwellers and is often packed, but the narrow gangs and poky rooms make it difficult to negotiate to the best times. I think it's great that this place provides vegan items, but shopping here is not always the most pleasant or friendly experience.

An institution in melbourne, this has so many amazing organic vegan products and foods. prices are very favourable for organic foods. it can be a little cramped and sells unfortunately meat and meat products.

Really well stocked, love that they now also have lots of own brand goods. It’s huge but be ready to jostle with other shoppers along narrow aisles to find what you want.
