Pizza Meine Liebe - Northcote

Northcote is the home of my favorite pizza place, and I absolutely adore the 'Michelle' pizza. The crunchy base, caramelized onion, potato, and taleggio cheese are just perfect. I also love their rocket and pear salad, which I like to put on top of my pizza for extra flavor. The restaurant itself is very cute, but I recommend avoiding sitting at a table right at the front, as it can get crowded with Uber and takeaway customers. Instead, opt for one of the many other charming rooms available.

We absolutely adore this pizza restaurant! With its cool vibes, excellent service, and delicious pizzas paired with a great wine selection, we have been loyal customers for over a decade. Our favorite is the 'Exit the Dragon' pizza with hot salami, Scamorza cheese, and extra tiger prawns. We were devastated when they had to temporarily close during the pandemic. Pizza Miene Liebe is truly sensational!

It’s so good that I even bought the t shirt man the pizzas are delist but so are the entrees, the service, the decor everything! What a great little find in Northcote and I had heard rumours about it and travelled from the CBD whilst on a business trip to Melbourne and the $17 uber was worth it! Yum!

We often visit Pizza Meine Liebe because they are very kid-friendly (they provide dough for kids to play with) and their pizzas are quite tasty. We particularly enjoy the crust. Our top pick is the mushroom pizza, while the kids prefer the Margherita and the red white and blue pizzas. The banana split is a hit with the whole family. Personally, I love the cheesecake. The caprese salad is fantastic, especially with the roasted pine nuts added.

Best pizza bases and toppings in town. This is our favourite family dinner place! My kids give the pizzas 15 out of 10!
