Elephant & Wheelbarrow - Northbridge

I went in here with my daughter searching for somewhere for a drink & where we could sit & chat. As a Brit, I usually avoid 'traditional British pubs' outside of the uk as they're usually full of the type of British people I was trying to get away from. So, having missed reading the sign outside properly, I felt like I'd entered an alternative universe, and not a pleasant one. I can't comment on the drinks - we were passed over for service at the bar in favour of some blokes, heard some bird screaming at the tv & left

I would not go back the bar management was really rude he riped the wine list out of my hand and would not let anyone service us and when we asked one of the bar people they just gave us water and wouldn't explain why the wouldn't service us

Ok pub during happy hour if you are after a cheap pint in a dusty roadhouse like venue. Otherwise, go anywhere else in Northbridge if you are wanting good service, friendly staff and good vibe.

Not a bad place for some local craft beers. I just did not think the staff were that friendly, but I only came in once, so maybe I could have had a better experience on a different day. Didn't try any of the food.

Nothing special I have been here once and didn't enjoy it. The food was average as well as the service. The floors were all sticky and the atmosphere stunk
