Sun Pub - Northampton

On Saturday night in Hardingstone, my companion and I decided to dine at a restaurant without making a reservation. Despite the limited availability, the staff was very accommodating and managed to fit us in. We both opted for the burgers, which we found to be a bit pricey compared to other establishments like The Smoke Pit. However, the dessert was delicious and overall we had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We appreciated that the restaurant is dog-friendly and will definitely be coming back. The portion sizes were perfect and the Cajun chicken burgers were outstanding.

I/we use the pub regularly never query the bill only pay one go. the Mother's Day menu was a fixed price either two or three courses plus extras if required. our party of six ordered 3x three cursor meals and 3 two cursor meals (plus a few extras.) the bill came as a list of individual arranged at the total price we paid. I could see that the staff on this day was somewhat overwhelmed, so our main meal took 100 minutes to appear, but no problem we enjoyed it and left a reasonable tipp. we have paid without question, but annoyed in the failure to observe the correct billing procedure.

We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday evening at 5:30 to find out that my son had mistakenly booked for Monday instead. Despite the pub being full, the manager did a fantastic job of finding us a table. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service was absolutely brilliant! The food was excellent, with generous portions and a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Well done and thank you!
