We decided to have a quick lunch here, although we didn't have high expectations after reading some reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. A friendly young waiter took our order and was not shy to ask other staff members for help when needed. I ordered a beef burger that was delicious and filling, accompanied by tasty chips and a small salad. The salad was surprisingly good. Our drinks were also enjoyable. The only downside was that my wife's muffin did not taste fresh. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience.
Probably the worst café experience I had, and I would absolutely recommend that they don't go here. children wad and pancakes both ordered with chocolate syrup. the waffeln came with spearmint sirup, which was noticed only after the overcrowd. they use silver jugs, so it was not obvious that it was wrong. I wanted to ask for a replacement, and when this was brought out, it was the same waffel, twisted, scratched with some of the sirups. it was completely obvious that this was the case and I could see the rest of the green sirup from diagonally above the table. I took it back and was told something to the effect that it did not break anymore, what they expect that we literally scattered this personal as she said. another worker saw in the bin to check that there was no waffel in there, and I was offered pancake instead (this employee apologised) this offer would have been in order if that happened when I first brought it back. an ersatz waffel was then somehow brought out (I was told at this place that they did not break out of the, they simply did not have much left) after I had already convinced my daughter to eat a part of the old one from which she had not eaten much because it obviously tasted of spearmint sirup. in principle it was terrible and I would not recommend this place.
Enjoy a beautiful champagne breakfast after a beautiful morning drifting across the Avon Valley in a hot air balloon with windward ballooning adventures. the setup was amazing, the personal was amazing and went beyond and beyond to my family that did not touch. the hot air balloon participated. they recommend this place, do not miss when they go northam next:
A very pleasant location with views of the river avon, with friendly staff. we shared a chili rührei (with a few add-ons) very pleasant with three types of chili on a fluffy guide and chili oil to pour over it. service was fast and. the coffee was good.
Visited the cafe this morning following an incredible balloon ride. Due to the large group booking a set breakfast was being served, I asked the friendly wait staff if I could possibly have my eggs scrambled instead of poached (would not have been an issue...if this could not have been accommodated) but they agreed. I was enjoying the scenery when a frazzled older lady (possibly the manager) plonked my breakfast down in front of me and asked quite rudely “are you pregnant” while I was at a table with strangers. I could have died of embarrassment. When I realised that it was because I had ordered scrambled eggs I just said “no, it’s just that I don’t like poached eggs” and she snapped “oh ok so you’re just making me work harder then” I barely touched my breakfast and wanted to leave as quickly as possibly. It really put a damper on an otherwise amazing morning. You should never be too busy for good manners.
