Wakame Sushi-sheppard Bathurst

Great sushi! This place is very good for AYCE. The fish was pretty fresh and their rice to fish ratio was very good. I went in with a reservation for a party of 10 and they accommodated us without a problem. Our reservation was at 6:00pm on a Wednesday. Towards 7pm the place was packed and had about 15 people waiting outside for tables. The price for 2 people was $50 including tax. Not too shabby at all. The service was good. I would definitely recommend this place for AYCE sushi lovers.

Thought we'd try these guys out for lunch since we received their flyer in the mail. Was a bit reluctant after reading some of the one-star reviews but was worth a shot. <br/ <br/ Decor was really shnazzy, but not pretentiously in your face. <br/ <br/ Service was great: table was clean, drinks ordered and served within a minute of sitting, servers refilled water, cleared dishes, and were attentive without being badgering or hovering. <br/ <br/ Menu was pretty extensive for a lunch menu, including butterfish and unagi (I've been to places who don't offer them outside dinner hours). Rolls were excellent (although I found the unagi rolls to be a little light on the fish). Thought it was odd that they didn't have shrimp tempura on the lunch menu, but there were plenty of hand rolls, fried foods, noodle dishes, soups, salads, and good ol fashioned sushi to make up for it. <br/ <br/ Bill came to under $30 for the two of us which is very reasonable. Will definitely go back for dinner. All in all, will be one of my new faves!

Good&Affordable Sushi. I have been there many times and will definitely go back. All you can eat lunch is very good because you have a good menu for the price, about $15. Say that it used to be $12 2-3 years ago.<br/ <br/ Food: Not excellent, but quite good for the price. Not authentic like most japanese restaurants since they're run by chinese. <br/ <br/ Decor&Atmosphere: Nice modern decor with some traditional geisha statues, bonsai plants, etc. It can be loud when there are busy.<br/ <br/ Service: Pretty good. Nothing outstanding.
