Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

We arrived at 1:20 PM todayWe were taking my dear mother out for lunch (she's 95).

I went to this location and felt I had the best service ever from Rivka She was constantly polite and on top of everything Great experience!

What do you expect people ??? it is just a simple café .

I have been to this restaurant a few times. This would have been a 1 star rated review had it been on any other day. I decided go here for Father's Day with my family - disaster!! I made a reservation. The table was not ready when we got there. We waited about 10 minutes. I could live with that. It took the waitress another 10 minutes to introduce herself and get us some drinks. Fine! We only ordered water so how long could it possibly take. We waited another 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order. That alone should have been enough (and usually is) but it was Father's Day. Not even a complimentary soup while we waited for the kitchen staff to get it together! It was a total of 95 minutes before we received our meals. Horrible! I didn't complain or send back my meal. If it wasn't Father's Day, and if we weren't starving, I would have!!!! The food was mediocre at best. The salmon was dry. The plating was inconsistent - veggies were cold, mushy, not distributed evenly and cut this way and that - 3 of us ordered the same dish. The sandwich/wraps had little or no taste to them. Very, VERY unhappy with this restaurant.Other tables that arrived after we did definitely received their meals before us. I will not be returning - ever! Stay away from this place if it's busy, they can't handle it.

All around good choice for a restaurant. It has its unique choices in a Mediterranean ambiance. Pros:-breakfast, lunch, dinner choices keep you coming back.-Staff is excellent and attentive. -Prices make some meals a good value. - You can usually get a table quickly.- All breakfast items are superb. Cons:- Hamburger patties are not freshly made. You can tell they come from a box.Weigh the pros and cons and you will see it's a fine restaurant to drop into. -
