Pita Ikram - North York

Ordered the chicken souvlaki combo meal and it was so plentiful and absolutely fresh and delicious! Not the first time here and not the last. Very consistent and delicious!

I liked shawarma before until i taste pita ikram's, now i love it!! That particular store on finch is great, The food is fresh and the shawarma is so tasty They put more chicken than the other restaurants

This is their newer location, so maybe that makes a difference, but I expect the food to be prepared the same way in both. This is primarily a takeout place. You order at the counter and even for eat-in food comes in takeout containers. There are tables, but it's like eating in a school cafeteria, there is little attempt at decor or atmosphere. The service was awkward, only 2 staff behind the counter but they couldn't seem to avoid getting in each others way at every turn. One item we ordered never made it onto the plate (at least we weren't charged for it). But given that this location hasn't (I think) been open for all that long, maybe that's just new staff issues. I'd go back and check, but the food itself was not particularly good, so there is no incentive to do so. Toronto has so many choices for Middle Eastern food that are much better and far more authentic.Per their web site the other location offers delivery, but its not clear if this one does.

Pita Ikram is simple straight forward shawarma place with decent shawarma and good prices.
