Contribuiți la feedbackI absolutely love this place! It takes me right back to Thailand. The owner is incredibly committed to providing outstanding service, just as much as he is to serving delicious food. I ordered the chicken curry, which has quickly become my favorite so far. I also tried their pad Thai and aromatic fried rice; every dish was bursting with flavor. Even though the portions were generous and I was full, I couldn't help but keep eating. The crispy tofu, mango salad, and chicken wings make for the perfect accompaniment to any meal. And I can't forget about their coconut milkshake and Thai iced tea—it's like stepping into a local eatery in Thailand. Thank you for such a memorable experience! I can't wait to come back with my entire family soon.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We ordered a Thai iced tea, massaman curry, and Thai fried rice. The curry was delightfully creamy, and the potatoes were perfectly tender. The fried rice had a nice kick to it, packed with plenty of tofu. While there’s only enough seating for about four customers—making it primarily a takeout spot—I’m really glad we chose to dine in. The atmosphere was great!
Tucked away on a bustling street, this small Thai restaurant may be easy to overlook in the evening due to the lack of foot traffic. However, it offers a delightful selection of unique Thai appetizers and dishes that you likely won't find elsewhere in the city. The restaurant itself has a modest entrance and features two bar stools for dining, but currently only offers takeout. - **Taro Fries ($6.95)**: These were crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, served in several pieces alongside a yogurt-style dipping sauce. Quite enjoyable! - **Cashew Chicken Wings ($11.95)**: Deep-fried and coated in a spicy-sweet sambal sauce, these wings were tasty, but the promised cashews were scant—just a few scattered among the wings. Still good overall. - **Chicken Satay ($9.95)**: The dish consisted of four skewers of marinated grilled chicken served with peanut sauce. While it was edible, I’ve had much better versions elsewhere, so I’d probably skip it next time. - **Pad See Ew with Chicken ($14.95)**: A stir-fried dish made with thick rice noodles, chicken, and broccoli, all seasoned with a Thai twist. This dish was peppery and included fresh peppers, making it very good. I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t yet. - **Thai Iced Tea ($4.25)**: This was fairly standard for Thai iced tea, not bad at all. There is limited paid street parking available in front of the restaurant. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit!
You never know they serve Thai food in this area this hole in the wall but hidden gem ... Three young men doing the cooking. 3 years in the business and they survive one of the biggest obstacles. SUPPORT LOCAL! Alright alright alright ... enough chit chat the Pad Kee Mao Ugly Delicious tad bit sweet for me could use more heat. Chicken skewers were juicy and tasty with great dipping sauces but could by cook with charcoal grill to replicate Thai Street food. Wait for round 2 with more reviews :
Best Thai food I ever had and already one of my favourite places in Toronto. Got the massaman curry and it tasted amazing, creamy texture, tofu was done well, and it looked beautiful too. Portions are generous, particularly given the price, which means more of the brilliant food. We got the mango sticky rice to go as a desert, and again, absolutely brilliant. Get one of their coconut smoothies while you're there. Owner and staff are awesome. They were helpful selecting the right dish (me being vegan and all), answering any questions about the food (where to buy good coconut cream) and just chat a bit. He offered to change dishes to make them vegan, although I recommend you just get one of the curries if you're vegan, cause you'll just lose out on flavour if they have to take out fish sauce or shrimp paste. While clearly a take-out restaurant, they were happy to have us eat in. If you like Thai food, you should be getting your food here. If you think you don't like Thai food, this place will change, and blow, your mind!
