I got the pan fried vegetarian dumplings and they were the perfect amount crispy and soft. my only problem was the lack of taste with the filling. there was no spicy in the filling, only sweet. it felt like I was eating air. Otherwise my experience was pretty good and I would like to come back if they had a little more taste in the dumplings.
The restaurant Enkang is located in the Asian Food Mall (on the west side of Yonge Street across from all walks of life) on the ground floor of the building. The young cashier, Jazz, was very patient and explained the "Beef and Twist Pan Roasted Dumplings" and the "vermicelli duck soup with deer blood and duck liver". She assured me that there was no MSG in the food and that everything was made fresh. The restaurant closes at 8 o'clock on Saturdays. The dumplings were the best I've ever had, and a meal for 12 dumplings, including a drink, cost a total of $17. They were served with a delicious sauce made of vinegar and fermented garlic. The food felt healthy, easy on the stomach, and hearty. I was told that delivery is also an option. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Thank you, Jazz! The pan-fried dumplings were delicious with the fermented garlic sauce! Yum!
The veggie dumplings were incredibly flavorful and juicy. I tried the fried hir pan with a delicious sauce that was amazing. The homemade soy milk was fantastic as well. However, I found the prices to be a bit high.
Price: 4/5 Considering the quality and portion size, I think the price for the dumplings is fair. However, dishes like the sausage and steamed dumplings are quite pricey for what you get.
Loved their chicken Napa, and Vegetarian steam dumplings. Nicely packed with cutlery and yummy sauces. Took about 20 minutes to prepare the orders. Freshly made and delicious.
