Net Effect Internet Lounge

I was so very sad to read on the website that Net Effect has closed. I had not been there for a very long time, but I had spent many overnights there while I was having living arrangement issues. It was a friendly place, and always felt safe there even just overnight playing games. I do hope that whomever owns the business realizes what a place like this does for peoples lives. Big or small. You will always have my gratitude, and my sincere thanks for providing somewhere overnight, where people can have fun, and feel safe and secure while they are killing beasts. I tried the place late at night to do some printing. They have very good computers and equipment. It was very good compare to any internet cafe I've ever been around the city. Very clean and organized. Usually gaming places have a dungeon feel into them and are smelly. This place was not like that at all. The receptionist was kind and respectful. I saw so many people playing and enjoying the place even though it was 2 o'clock in the morning on a Sunday.

Recently started going here again as I'm back in Canada. Most of the computers have been upgraded big time. I'm talking Ryzen 5 3600 6C 12T. And now they have 2060 Supers, like what. They used to have 1060 3GB Graphics Cards. They upgrade most of the chairs also from the uncomfortable ones to the gaming chairs. If you're a tall person the chairs now should feel more comfortable. They changed out some mouses for Steelseries mouses. Prices are These are the only prices I myself can recommend, the other ones only seem viable if you plan on going a lot. $10 3hrs $15 5hrs I recommend this one $15 Night pass 9pm 9am $60 25hrs Useable anytime, I recommend if you're broke. Only use your hours if you can't afford to go there. Example: You have $20 and decide to spend it on lets say the night pass or 5hrs and some drinks Example #2: You have no money but you want to go there, this is the perfect time to use some of the hours from the 25hrs that costed you $60

Best Internet cafe I’ve been to that’s somewhat nearby and very cheap prices. The computers are amazing and can run games at high graphics with high FPS. The staff are very helpful and make you feel welcomed. I recommended this place to a lot of my friends and they go here too.

Good selection of snacks, wish they had more options for noodles but its a good place to go to chill for a few hrs before class work or after
