Such a different type of bun burger but just works so well with a fresh idea!It’s like a cheeseburger wrapped inside a bun! Such a simple idea but executed so well! Every bite was just amazing!And for dessert, definitely have to try the cereal milk doughnuts! Whatever crushed cereal flavour is for the week covered in the cereal milk doughnut! This is made fresh and that first bite will definitely get you hooked!Service, truly awesome! Someone that I know told me to check it out, and I am so glad that I did!I ordered a cheeseburger bun and a coconut milkshake to go. The bun was hot and fresh, and the milkshake was lightly sweet and refreshing~A great addition to the neighborhood! Come and check it out, your tastebuds will thank you!

Loved our experience at Bunhaus! We got both the Bun Royale (and the Herb n' Cheese as a part of a Yelp promo). We thought the Bun Royale was excellent and the Herb n' Cheese would be a fantastic choice for vegetarian patrons. They both had a really nice fresh and crispy bun encasing the tasty fillings. The bun itself was slightly sweet and went really well with the savoury fillings. My friend and I were both surprised at how juicy the burger inside the Bun Royale stayed, but how perfectly cooked the bun was. We loved how clean the buns ate they would be perfect for picnics! Branko was a pleasure to chat with, he's super friendly and talked about his background in fine dining prior to opening Bunhaus. This was definitely a nice treat and we can't wait to try more flavours!

This is an honest review of the products I purchased and tried today! I came in and was immediately greeted by a worker who was very nice and helpful. She told me about the buns and also the soups. Because of the cool weather outside, I thought the soup would be a perfect addition to the bun! I got the pizza bun $8.5) and a soup I believe it was $13.5) she recommended which was the white bean and kale soup. Both of these came to a total of $23.73. The pizza bun's bread was super fluffy and delicious but I would have enjoyed it if there was more filling as in more cheese and tomato sauce. The soup quite literally warmed my tummy. It was so warm and tasted literally like a bowl of health. I did enjoy it and it was quite filling. However, because there were no prices on the soups, I had assumed a soup would be a couple dollars. I was surprised to see how expensive it was and did find that it was all quite expensive. Although I do appreciate and trust that they use fresh ingredients and make their buns and soups fresh in house. They do have amazing customer service and their store is beautiful. They have many different flavoured buns and a special of the day.

Bunhaus specializes in European handcrafted buns. What started off as a pop up business later found a permanent home in the FLIPhouse food hall. Street parking is available outside.Menu options include herb and cheese (stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella), pizza, butter chicken, cheeseburger, a chimney dog (which contains Hungarian sausage), and the bun royale (a deluxe version of the cheeseburger).The buns are made and par baked the day before, then finished off in the oven before serving. This helps to ensure the development of a nice crust on the buns, similar to a fresh baked pretzel . The cheeseburger bun containing seasoned ground beef, cheese, and a pickle was surprisingly filling.The butter chicken bun had sizeable pieces of chicken enveloped in a flavourful curry sauce. The bun was the perfect vehicle for the curry filling, served hot which gives it the textural contrast and crust, and helps to set it apart from the curry bun at the neighbouring bakery.Soups (such as Tuscan white bean and kale, chicken soup and beef goulash) will replace milkshakes during colder months. Loyalty stamp card is given with each bun purchased; after purchasing seven you get one free.
