King's Head - North Weald

This charming pub is full of character, featuring an open fire and plush couches in the pub area. The restaurant section offers comfortable and cozy seating. We had lunch here with our 14-month-old child, and the staff was very friendly with excellent service. We ordered the starter platter, special steak, chicken, and leek cake, all of which were delicious and served in generous portions. This was our second visit, and we love it every time. We'll definitely be back soon!

The best starter I've ever had at a pub! The full Sunday roast was delightful—served hot and offering a great selection of meats and vegetables. Having dined at my local pub for many years, I've noticed that, despite a few bumps along the way, the overall standard of service is now very good.

Yesterday, on February 1st, we celebrated my partner's birthday at The King's Head. Despite a large wake event happening at the same time, they kindly informed us that there was space for us in the small room. We ordered the salmon and the lamb, and both dishes were excellent—kudos to the chef! The waiting staff were also very attentive and quick. We can't wait to go back. Thank you, The King's Head! xx

A beautiful charming local pub with friendly warming coworkers, eating is excellent a great selection of ale on tap (my personal drinking money). has recently renovated, which looks great and still holds the character of the 'old' inn very recommended!

Multiple dishes to choose from as a vegetarian, and the food was exceptional! Gin and tonic also went down really well. Starters were very generous so unfortunately had no room for dessert, but was given discount vouchers for Jan so I will be returning to eat again soon! Thank you team, also, for looking after my friend and I during our visit.
