Ella's Wood Fired Kitchen

We love Ella's the food is great as is the service. Also, it is located right across the street from the Gallery Place Metro stop and right next to a parking garage. Convenient all around.

Enjoyed a great pre-show dinner at Ella's on Saturday night! We started out with really good cocktails (the Bonanist for me and an Old Fashioned for my husband). Next we shared the mixed green salad featuring a roasted garlic vinaigrette that perfectly complements the fresh greens and veggies. We then enjoyed 2 pizzas: the Melanzane and the American Wheel. Both feature the freshest, most flavorful toppings on a perfectly crackling crust. Our server, Mae, was exceptional! She helped us select the perfect cabernet sauvignon to accompany the pizzas. There was a large, loud group behind us when we arrived, but when they left, the decibels decreased dramatically and conversation wasn't difficult. Looking forward to our next dinner at Ella's!

Great service, food was excellent. Enjoyed that, when we were showed to a table in the back, the background noise from the bar dropped significantly. Even as the restaurant filled up, it was not loud. Server was great, she made sure that we were well taken care of. Thank you!

Nice location. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. Had the Calzone. It was filled to the brim! Baked in the wood fired oven for a great crust and taste. Great spot.
