Excellent. This has to be the best one for miles. Also they have joes black gravy recipe from happy gathering. Really friendly staff too. You 100% have my custom when im in the area. Im really looking forward to my leftovers for lunch.

The only Chinese takeaway we have used consistently since moving from Birmingham 12 years ago and very few complaints during this time. However, ordered a birthday treat today £21 worth and sadly most ended up in the bin: Chicken fried rice usually means you should fry the rice not boil it to death. Adding an appropriate amount of vegetable helps 5 peas in a whole main course carton? not appropriate. Chicken fried rice also usually implies something with chicken in it and yes, we did find some however not an amount to justify the hefty price tag. The salt and chilli chicken appeared to have dropped the chilli from the end of it's name I'm not a great fan of a strong chilli taste but this tasted of nothing including strangely not even garlic or soy. Basically dry chicken in chewy, hard batter suppose at least there was something fried! . The additional Peking sauce ordered as an accompaniment to the rice, very strange colour and again no taste not an ounce of chilli or any other ingredient recognisable as a taste of the orient. Needless to say very disappointing for a birthday treat and not one will be repeating in a hurry. Folks, we've been coming to you for years bring back your usual chef PLEASE!

The best chinese food in the area in my opinion. I've been using Oriental Chef for a few years since 2014 when I moved out from Birmingham they have never disappointed and always deliver hot freshly cooked food when they say they will. Last nights meal was exceptionally good and worth every penny.
