The Corner Stone - North Vancouver

Tucked in a residential neighbourhood. Really friendly service, sunny patio, yummy benny with quality eggs and obviously homemade hollandaise. Solid brunch, now curious to return and try dinner.

This is a nice quiet location especially during warm weather where you're able to enjoy the patio seating. Very good almond croissant while service is friendly. Weekends a lot of locals go here for brunch.

The Corner Stone has been here since I was small (a long time ago), first as the local grocery, then, much later, as a very nice local coffee shop, and finally, after much, much fighting with the local liquor licensing board, as a truly fine local dining spot.Located in Pemberton Heights, an isolated neighbourhood in North Vancouver, the Corner Stone still provides excellent coffee and pastries during the day and a small but imaginative and inclusive menu at night. Brunch, very popular, is available on the weekends. Immensely popular with locals, reservations are recommended. Prices are surprisingly moderate, considering the very high quality of the cuisine. Outdoor seating is available in good weather.

Although we have lived on the North Shore for over 50 years, I just found about this out of the way Bistro.My wife and daughter treated me to breakfast here on Father's Day. Apparently they only serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The menu is small but serves basic breakfast dishes as well as four types of Bennies and two sizes of pancakes . They seem to be somewhat flexible if the customer has a special request.My wife and daughter shared their special plate of a selection of three types of bennies. They loved them. I had the standard eggs and sausage. Hopefully my pictures will show up with this review. All dishes come with pan fried potatoes and several slices of fresh fruit . The cost was well within reason.Service was prompt and efficient. The coffee cups are huge.They have meals on Friday and Saturday evening. The menu changes frequently so check it out online and be sure to make reservation as I hear it sells out. We will let you know more when we try it.

Great bistro food with amazing new french chef, service staff and ownership is always personal and attentive. Lucky to live close to a gem like this. It's a comfortable place for everyone. They offer wonderful dinners on the weekend, great grab and go lunches, and brunch or just a place for coffee or glass of a wine.
