La Cucina - North Vancouver

Staying in North Vancouver for the night and this place was walking distance from our hotelFood was wonderful, wine was great, service was awesome.

This restaurant; although not definitley the most young hip place to be, is my absolute fave!! The ambiance is so cozy and quaint..

Dinner for three people sharing appetizer, salad, 2 pasta entrees and sea bass, desert and drinks. Every dish was okay, nothing special. Portion sizes very small - I was hungry upon leaving. Prices very high ($36 for small portion of sea bass with one piece of carrot, two slices of potato!!). Service just okay. Perhaps my expectation is a bit high after being in Italy for a week where abundant, freshly prepared food and reasonable prices abound.

We went there on our trip through BC and were really surprised to find such an authentic italian restaurant! The food was really delicious and the owners are very friendly! Prices are also fair

I ate here tonight with friends and was very impressed with the service the food and the ambience. The starter of mushrooms was very nice indeed and then my spaghetti carbonara was quite delicious. I finished with chocolate lava cake which was also first class. I recommend this restaurant.
