Eighties Restaurant - North Vancouver

After all these years in business, you might expect that a restaurant would offer an alternative to using stairs. But no, you will be sadly turned away from this establishment with no apology, if you rely on a wheeled mobility device or cannot do stairs....Shameful. Stairlifts and small elevators have been available since long before the Eighties .

80s is consistently mediocre. I've probably been here 5 times and it's always because somewhere else is packed or closed and the food has never impressed me. It's not expensive, the people are nice, the food is not great. I cant believe anyone would give...this place more than 3 stars.

This is a typical bar and burger joint. The service was average, the food was tasty and reasonably priced. I would recommend it for lunch or grabbing a bite to eat and a couple of drinks while people-watching below.

I haven't been here for decades. Server was a bit strange, supposedly new, but forgot certain steps of the service. The food was fine. Very large portions and very filling. A reasonable price for the amount of food we have received.

We are happy to go from time to time to the Eighty Restaurant. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. General portions served by friendly hosts. Your fried chicken is a popular product. My partner likes the liver dinner (definitely not a crowd gift for me lol but... he enjoys it) and I like her burgers. You have specialties so always ask what they don't have for soups and meals on there big menu. Friends we took have enjoyed their meals and friendly banters with the hosts. Have fun.
