Altitudes Bistro - North Vancouver

As well as a vegetarian. average preço, mas muiiiito gostoso, and muitissimo bem feito. That's right.

This place doesn't have much competition at Grouse Mountain, so I was prepared for it to be complacent and mediocre. It was anything but. The staff were pleasant and efficient. My burger was the best I've had all summer. The prices were quite reasonable, especially given the location. We had a lovely view from the patio. We left completely satisfied.

We stopped for a light lunch, ordered salads and beer. The beer (local) was nice light and cold. The salads were very good (Arugula, and Spinach salad) the view is amazing! Definitely worth a visit.

We visited this restaurant to grab lunch on 7/28. The view was very nice, the food quality was average (at best), and the service was poor. We sat inside the restaurant and our female server was apparently overburdened with the number of tables that she was caring for. We put a drink order in (for a beer and a mixed drink), received them at least ten minutes later and found that the mixed drink was nowhere near what was ordered. A Paloma was ordered and what came out appeared to be a Mojito! We ordered nachos for an appetizer and some lunch items. Unfortunately, the nachos came out after the lunch items did and they were terrible. The cheese was dried and burned instead of melted and it was just a solid pile of stuff. Finally, our waitress never returned to refill our water or offer a refill on my beer until we were all done eating and ready for the check. Even the check took ten minutes to produce once we indicated that we were ready for it.The table next to ours was suffering from similar circumstances. There were four people in their group and two of them received their entrees at least 10-15 minutes before the other two people did. One of them complained and the manager came over to tell them that he would speak to them after they ate. After this experience, we canceled reservations that we had at the formal dining room at the observatory because there was no reason to assume that the results would be any better.

My wife and I visited Grouse Mountain and stopped here for a bite of lunch. The food is fantanstic. I had a burger, and my wife had one of the salads. Our server, Hannah, was very attentive, and I greatly admire her commitment to the welfare of the planet's environment. (If she ever sees this review - I've stopped using straws!) The view of Vancouver, the bay, and the surrounding mountains is phenomenal.
