Contribuiți la feedbackA brand new Bao shop in North Sydney that is predominately Baos. I found this on Concrete Playground, there so many Baos on the menu. The crunchy fried chicken one is amazing!.
A small cafe+simply food.Coffee is outstanding, no matter what you like you will find something here. It is easy to make the decision, crispy chicken baoNothing to complain.
Definitely not the cheapest way to get a Bao fix, but didn't experience the chewiness mentioned earlier in one of the previous reviews. Went there on a Friday and tried their Friday-Only Bao. Considering they're Peking Duck and Wagyu Beef, the generosity was fantastic. The beef wasn't over-seasoned and didn't overpower the Bao with other flavours. It wasn't sliced into separate chunks but rather one piece sliced down, but conjoined at the bottom. This made it a little harder to handle. The sauce on top had some horseradish in it too which contrasted nicely with the beef without masking the natural flavour. Would gladly have it again. The Peking Duck was similarly balanced in terms of the hoisin sauce amount added. It had a good ratio of meat to vegetables and would highly recommend this one too.Go for the Pork Belly Bao however. Lost for words here....There was a man bun, hipster beard, nice music and a minimalist atmosphere... so you know you're in safe hands.
