Contribuiți la feedbackThis was a great night out, the Nepalese food was amazing and servings were generous, the friendliness of the owner made the experience even better. I would recommend Gorkha Palace if you want to try something new..
Good Meal, friendly staff and i think they are running under new management. which is very good, they improved lot than last time. Testy FOOD
Took over an hour for delivery which is even longer than it sounds considering I live half a kilometre from the restaurant. Dal I ordered was actually not bad, but the "Gorkha Special Lamb" was anything but special. It was just slightly better than a bad takeaway Indian shop's. Naan was good. Dumplings again, werent good at all. Can't say anything was terrible, but definitely not the place you want to eat from if you're in the mood to enjoy food.
Went there mid-week with family. Naan and kulfi desserts were quite nice but curries were not fresh especially the meat. Service was OK and ambience is absent. Overall average food, not worth the value.
A friend and I decided to have dinner at Gorkha Palace. It was Sat evening and the place while not crowded was quite full. There is also a function room upstairs where a party was in progress. The noise was deafening with quite a few shrill screams & loud laughter periodically adding to the loud music. We ordered our meal. The naans were well made & arrived hot & freshly made. Apart from that the food was actually quite disappointing. The curries we had ordered were all way too spicy and seemed to have jut chilli powder dominating any other flavours. The portion sizes were also a LOT smaller for the price compared to smiliar restaurants in the area that I have visited..Overall the mean was not satisfying and with all the loud noise from upstairs, conversation was not possible either.
