Very impressed. Basic uncomplicated menu with excellent prices. Steak cooked to perfection. Proper pub with fantastic views. Good selection of drinks. A welcome change to find an independent quirky pub. Spotlessly clean.

A lot of reviewers seem to have overlooked the essence of this place. It's a no-frills neighborhood joint with a down-to-earth owner who doesn't beat around the bush. If you're hungry, just pick something off the menu - it's not complicated. Vic is a traditional owner who pours a fantastic pint of Bass and offers straightforward, affordable meals. We personally love the place.

I don't understand how this restaurant receives anything other than one-star reviews. The landlord is rude and unpleasant. I can't fathom how this establishment stays in business. If the landlord dislikes customers so much, why bother staying open at all? Hopefully, he retires soon and someone more pleasant takes over.

Friendly hosts, generous glass of wine. Lovely view, looking over the water. Good prices. Will definitely return.
