Blackwell Grill House - North Somerset

Not as good as it used to be. The quality of the food is low, oily, and the portions are small. They do not accept card payments, only cash.

Just off the main A370 main road in Backwell. Free parking outside. Next door to the vets. Although we only had coffee, (and chips!! , meals were also being served. Very good value for money. We will certainly call in again. The burgers and breakfast looked very good, all cooked to order. Cafe was very clean, with tables being cleaned after each customer. Well behaved dogs admitted. Cash only

Myself and a few friends ordered chips in which they gave to us in a takeway box (even though we didn’t ask for takeway). We sat down at a table before shortly after being rudely told to leave halfway through eating our food since there were other customers that needed to sit down that were more important than us. We left in silence, embarrassed about being kicked out for no reason and will not be spending money here again.

Superb pizza, discounts on a Monday too. Wish we’d tried it before and will be my new regular, much better than dominos we thought. Also very polite, quick and friendly thanks!

Good value and always polite. Just a burger and chips but all good, can’t fault it. Have previously eaten breakfast in house. All good and nice and hot.
