Lobo Rojo - North Shields

The food is fresh, delicious, and bursting with flavor. I haven't had a bad dish from the menu yet. I highly recommend the tuna tostadas and the mole chicken burrito. They also offer a great variety of salsas. Our server warned us that the pineapple salsa was extremely spicy (I thought I could handle it), but when I accidentally added too much to my burrito, she kindly provided me with a glass of milk without any judgment. The beverage menu is impressive, featuring a wide selection of tequilas! I can't wait to come back very soon!

In both visits, the food was impeccable. I ordered the amazing vegan sharing plate, which was perfect for me. The kale was surprisingly tasty, and I usually don't enjoy kale. The plating reflects everything you receive and is worth the price. However, my recent experiences have highlighted some areas for improvement, especially concerning the staff. We arrived at 6:45 PM for dinner and waited about 50 to 55 minutes before our food was served. I noticed this excessive wait time occurring at other tables as well. We also requested additional drinks, but they didn't arrive until the food was almost ready. To make matters worse, when our drinks finally arrived, we were informed that our table was booked for another couple in 10 minutes, which put us under pressure to finish our meal quickly. This situation ruled out any possibility of ordering dessert. Despite these issues, I would still return. The food is genuinely outstanding, and the staff is friendly. I don't necessarily blame them; it seems they might be overloaded with bookings. It's a testament to how good the place is that I still rate it four stars. I really hope they address these problems before our next visit.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The vegetarian options are outstanding! We make it a point to dine here every time we visit Newburg. The quality and flavors are comparable to those found in the best restaurants in London!

No surprise from below reviews. everything was perfect and delicious. we came to the Council and have totally worth it.

Was the second visit would recommend it to every one. Only one little complaint I would have is every time I've been after 10 mins I've had to ask for the drinks menu and it's only cocktails would be nice to see what selection of beers and drinks. And the cocktail menu had at least half a dozen that weren't available
