The service is friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent and really showcases the original flavors. I especially enjoy the barkburger with salad and the stuffed croissants.
My man and I were on this place and we ordered two cricker crustaceans-free on croissants. so delicious! the dill was a nice note. they had great choices and beautiful baked goods. we are in the park behind him and watch the boats in. the harbour. a plus: they recommended a place to dinner and it was great! try this for a casual lunch!
The fischburger and hamburger were the top notches. the fish was super fresh, served cake hot with a beautiful dressing combination of plucked wobble and tartar sauce on a delicious homemade bungalow. my man took care of the hamburger. hand-cut pommes were also absolutely delicious....We bought a pizza on their homemade pizza dough to try later. it looks great! we don't even have to check their beautiful cupcakes and baked bags that I think is what they are famous. food quality. not cheap, but it does not taste like cheap food. they get what they pay for. highly recommended.
My family and I visited North Rustico earlier this month. Things were just beginning to open for the tourist season but not much choices of places to eat. We had our one year old with us when we stopped by The Yellow House. Mike and...Sophie were on site, but unfortunately they were not open either. They did however offer us a little nibble if we were open to eating whatever they had on site. They directed us to a little park just behind the restaurant while they rustled up something for us to eat. When they presented us with our meal we were pleasantly surprised that it was more than just a nibble. They put together a beautiful duck breast prosciutto on homemade bread, fresh salad and fires as well as a freshly made bread pudding topped with a mountain of ice cream and warm chocolate chip cookies. It was yummy to say the least. They refused to bill us for the meal :o For us this was one of the most memorable experiences we had in PEI. Their generosity and kindness won us over completely. This was an accurate reflection of our time in spent in PEI. Thank you Mike and Sophie!!!!
