Roots Coffeehouse

It's been awhile since I've been to Roots and I'm glad I stopped by. This charming coffeeshop offers plenty of food/drinks, including seasonal options. There are plenty of places to sit and I love that this coffeeshop gets plenty of natural light. My barista was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I went with a recommendation of hers and enjoyed it. I ordered the New York style pumpkin spice loaf and spiced apple cider. The loaf was dense, sweet and the apple cider had plenty of spice which I enjoyed. The prices are on par with local coffeeshops and I look forward to returning when I'm in the area.

They didn't have the avocado toast anymore from what I gathered. Employees weren't super friendly or helpful when ordering. Loved this place last time I visited the area so made it a first stop but it pretty expensive for the lack luster energy. I'll probably skip it for a while. Still giving it 4 stars because the latte was pretty good. Better customer service hospitality would make up for any other hiccups.

This isn't a beer half-drunk- this is how they served it to me. Didn't drink out of it when picture was taken- half a glass, foam all out. I asked them isn't there supposed to be more. Staff says that they have a scale they go by. I seriously doubt that statement since they used to serve way more up the glass before. This is COMEDICALLY bad, and borderline insulting.

Cute coffeehouse vibe... similar to most coffeehouses with the exposed ceiling, concrete floors, couches. Plenty of seating options on a Saturday afternoon 9am. Coffee is great. But sad they had plant based eggs only. I should've looked closer at the menu before driving out of my way. It probably said that. My fault. But be prepared.

Super friendly staff and I love studying here! The Gluten free donuts are really yummy also
