Los Juanitos - North Richland Hills

I've been a regular customer here for four years, but that may change now. This is the second time this month that my order was incomplete despite having paid for everything. I returned to work only to discover that my side of rice was missing. The person taking orders at the window really needs to improve their attention to detail!

I would recommend skipping this place. The meat was old and dry, and the flavor was lacking. I ordered the California Burrito and could only manage to eat two-thirds of it before feeling unwell. Unfortunately, they were out of the lemonade that everyone seems to love. On a positive note, the lady at the window was nice and service was quick. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

If you've recently relocated from California and are in search of authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place for you! The Carne Asada fries were incredibly tasty, and the Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos were equally delightful.

Honestly, I've always ordered the pastor tacos and churros, so that's really all I can comment on, but they're absolutely delicious! They're consistently great. Even though I live a bit further away now, I still make the drive from time to time because I crave these tasty tacos! The staff is always super friendly, too.

I've been on the hunt for a great authentic Mexican restaurant in this area, and I think I've finally found it! I often compare authenticity to the tacos from Tijuana, and this place delivers. I enjoyed some fantastic barbacoa tacos, and the horchata was excellent too. Food rating: 5/5.
