Hong Kong Express

I typically call in a to-go pick up order for the lunch special. My food is always ready, hot and delicious.

This restaurant needs a thorough cleaning. It has an unpleasant odor that unfortunately affects the taste of the food.

I have never had a better experience with Chinese takeout than I did at Hong Kong Express. It was truly impressive! The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We ordered egg rolls, and they were fantastic—the wrap was crispy and flaky, and the filling was cooked to perfection and steaming hot. My favorite dish was the shrimp rice noodles; the noodles were just right—not too soft and not too firm. Each bite was bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars if I could, but I’ll round it up to 4. My boyfriend and I ordered a variety of dishes to celebrate his birthday. The chicken lo mein was incredibly flavorful, the fried rice was nearly perfect, and my peach tea was both delicious and refreshing. However, I was disappointed with the garlic chicken. It had no garlic flavor, was oddly sweet, and consisted of around 40% carrots, which I assume contributed to the sweetness. I took it home to give it another try, but it just didn’t work for me. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, the prices were affordable (just $12 for a large entrée is a rare find these days), and the service was prompt. We will definitely return!

The restaurant has a wonderful family atmosphere. The staff is friendly, polite, and quick to serve. It's definitely one of my top picks!
