Village Inn - North Rd, Seaham

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it tremendously. We were in room 2 above the pub. The room was huge with a queen and two twins. New furnishings and bedding and very clean. They had entertainment at the pub but it didn't go past 10 so no noise preventing a good nights sleep. The first evening we were dumb tourist and forgot to get pounds. The food delivery service would not accept credit card. One of the local patrons loaned us the money while the staff called and placed the order. The locals who frequented the pub were friendly and engaging. We would definitely return as the pub prices and room prices were excellent.

Hi we have been trying to reach you via telephone as we have a booking for 18/08/2020 which is for a wedding stay, which has to be rescheduled to 14/06/2021 due to the corona virus however you have a divert on your telephone which goes to an electrician down in scarborough? can you please check your telephone or message me via fb messenger? thanks

Fab pub my nana and grandad ran it many years ago and my dad grew up in that pub jack and Elizabeth Ritchie ????

I have stayed there a few times and found it brilliant and fantastic value,infact i will be staying again next year.

You couldn't ask for a warmer welcome than you recieve from Gareth and Mandy. Outstanding hosts and nothing is to much trouble to them. The rooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. All facilities avaialable, tea and coffee making, ironing board etc. Breakfast is all fresh produce and cooked perfectly. I stay hear regularly and cannont recommend it highly enough.
