Rose and Crown Hotel - NORTH PARRAMATTA

A group of us got together as my wife and I had flown in from Queensland for the weekend and we wanted a nice pub for lunch, a few drinks and a few laughs. We had a delightful afternoon. The food was quite nice, the beer cold and the atmosphere jovial. All in all a good afternoon in a quaint pub in Parra. We'd go back

The lady that runs it spoils the whole pub , she is rude and couldn't careless about customer service or anyone in the pub .Don't waste your money , spend it elsewhere where your given the time day and respect .

We went on a Sunday for lunch and were lucky to get a great parking spot close to the pub. It wasn't busy inside and the service from the young man where you order your food was fabulous. It was funny because we turned around to order a drink and he was there again! The food was incredible. My husband thought it was one if the best meals of the year. I loved my barramundi with prawn skewer and yummy sweet potato. The house cab merlot was good too. They warmed the delightful apple crumble without being asked and our coffee was brought to us by the sane young man. A very pleasant experience. A lady collected the dirty plates promptly and she was friendly. It is a pub so it's not grand but it is warm and cosy inside. We will be back.

We were two couple who dined at the Rose and Crown on a Saturday night. The venue was very busy as the races were at Rosehill that day. We dined outside facing the side street. We all enjoyed our meals. Four mains was about $90 which we thought was reasonable. Meals were served promptly, despite the large crowd in attendance.The only negative was the smokers, three men sitting in a nearby table in a dining and no smoking area.I will dine here again, but maybe not on a race day.

We've eaten more times than I can remember at the Rose and Crown and never had a bad meal. Steaks are always cooked to perfection and the blackboard specials are always worth a try. Pretty good pizzas too.
