The seating area we were in needed some maintenance as the bricks on the floor outside had shifted and could have been a tripping hazard. The tables also could have been cleaner as we didn't see them being cleaned after each use. Due to these issues, I have had to lower my rating.
The staff at this restaurant were very young and unhelpful, bordering on rude. When we asked for a menu after being seated, we were directed to grab one from a nearby area and told we had to order at the bar. The drinks were left on the tray when delivered, and the tray was not taken away when our breakfast was served - we had to do it ourselves. Despite these issues, the breakfast itself was delicious, hot, and well-cooked. However, I would not recommend this place due to the poor customer service. It may benefit from some staff training and customer service improvement. On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean, in a great location, and they even allowed our dog inside.
This restaurant has a beautiful location overlooking Wroxham, with a nice sheltered outdoor area. When we went indoors to order food and drinks, we found the staff to be very young and busy. Despite there not being too many customers inside and only one other table outside, we received no acknowledgement while waiting at the bar. Eventually, another staff member took our order after 10 minutes. Our drinks arrived quickly, with good beer, a lovely cappuccino, and good tea. However, the cutlery was not clean, with a family member finding a dirty teaspoon. The food took about 25 minutes to arrive, and one of our meals was missing. The waitress quickly arranged for it to be made, as the first staff member had forgotten to put it on the order. Overall, the food was cheap but just okay. It's a shame about the staff, as this place has potential. Perhaps they should consider hiring permanent staff instead of seasonal teenagers. While it wasn't the worst place I've been to, it also wasn't the best.
We found this place to be in a great location, being right on the waterside. The menu was general pub grub at a reasonable price, which suited us. We didn 't find on this occasion the staff to be very attentive, with the person who took our order making a 'huff ' noise when asked to take our order by a colleague who was busy, the when the order arrived there was a meal missing. The quality of the food was a little below what we 'd expected, but factor in the price and you know why. Cutlery was grubby and needed to be wiped with a napkin before use. Coffees and beer was very nice though. Probably wouldn 't come back.
Oh dear location great but service could be improved. Cheap and cheerful cafe with basic menu although they couldn’t do baked potato day we went. Food was OK abut took over 30 mins for toasted ciabatta and a sandwich. Staff were very poor, no communication skills and although not rude not helpful either. We asked for a high chair and the young girl didn’t know if they had one. One was brought but we had to clean it down. Could be a great place but probably won’t go back.
