Picnic Fayre - North Norfolk

Was looking forward to my visit but at 4.56pm was told we’re shutting now! Rudely spoken to by a grey haired lady putting food outside for the locals we were told. Sadly will not be spending our money there in the next 2 weeks even though we were recommended this place to visit!

This is one of my favourite places to get snacks. Although in recent months the opening hours have changed (not for the better) which has caught me off guard a few times and the staff are not alway as welcoming as they used to be. Hopefully it's because they're just finding their feet.

We called in to pick up something sweet for later that day. The cakes and pastries were absolutely amazing – seriously some of the best we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back (with a bigger rucksack).

Although pricey, this local shop is convenient. The service is quite friendly, but the prices are outstanding. It's a good option for last-minute essentials.

Excellent deli, always a go-to spot for us when we're in Cley. They have a fantastic selection and the cakes are especially incredible! While a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it.
