Kings Arms Ludham - North Norfolk

We dived into mothering on Sunday and didn't expect us to have a meal. all the tables booked, but we were accepted at the bar with which we were more than satisfied. the carvery was delicious and so much choice my teller was full before I knew. I had ripped that was so tender. in any case, a case of my eyes was bigger than my mouth. to the happiness my man was more than happy to end my meal, to eat me! the staff was friendly and helpful. if we could give them a 67, we would. pity that we don't live near, it would be our favorite place if we did.

Telephoned yesterday to make a Carvery booking to celebrate our anniversary. Advised that the Carvery commenced at 4pm so booked for that time. The place was virtually deserted and we were asked to select our drinks choice in our raincoats before even being given a table. The choice of veg was good BUT all the veg had been sitting there for hours. Only four roast potatoes left and like ALL the veg were barely warm. The meat was OK but, like the veg, barely lukewarm. The gravy was hot……thank goodness. A very, very disappointing meal for a special occasion. I have no idea how anyone could give a review of more than one star if their meal was like ours. A dreadful meal for my wife and myself and a special occasion spoilt by a complete lack of any kind of customer care.

Absolutely the best carvery for miles around. Bargain price, but the food is just beautifully cooked and plentiful. Even better, you can take away a dessert for just £3. Highly recommeded!

This is my local as I have just moved to Ludham. The pub is excellent, the staff are lovely and friendly. The food is delicious and they do the best carvery in Norfolk. Looking forward to many more visits to our local pub.
