Contribuiți la feedbackFab veggie and vegan Indian, beautiful environment and amazing service. Vase menu including currys, cansas and street food with veg, windshield wipe and fake meat (delicious! . The Allnis couldn't believe it wasn't meat. I had my first “butter chicken” and loved it. It is a little expensive, but for the food and the location, it is good. Only what I did not love was the vegan Lassi; not salty!
The food we ordered was very good, but the service was missing initially, although improved during meal we ordered drinks and 1 did not arrive with the rest and we had to remember them, and then the meals we ordered 3 masala dosa and 1 another curry and first 1 masala dosa was missed; but, when the problems were pointed out, they were immediately fixed and we were often tested after these failures to ensure everything they were all.
Had given this a great review but it’s pretty backwards for the restaurant to go from fully vegan to non-vegan… Have eaten the updated menu and it’s decent, the only reason I rate it 2 stars now as 2 stars is categorised as needs improvement. The improvement needed is for it to go back to being vegan lol. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-16
Wanted to leave only one star but it would not allow me to, because apparently it is fully vegan WHICH IT IS NOT. Pretty dire experience at this restaurant. The food was passable (except for the tofu which my friend ordered, which had an unpleasant crumbly texture, she had to ask the waiter if it was even tofu) and expensive. Worst of all was the service, we had to ask multiple times to order food, it then took us over an hour to receive our order (and even then we had to ask because it had been so long). At the end we made it known that we were quite disappointed but there was no attempt to make amends. Really disappointed by the experience, it spoiled our evening really and it was not money well spent.
This used to be my favourite restaurant, I'm so sad that they've changed it. The menu used to be so creative, unique and varied now it's just a standard Indian menu AND it's not even vegan anymore. The reintroduction of dairy is a terrible move, we won't be returning. Bring back the old OmNom! Updated from previous review on 2022 10 02
