Waffle House - North Little Rock

Last night at 1 am, we took my 8-year-old son to Waffle House for his first visit. He recently lost his dad and wanted to go there because it was a place his dad enjoyed. The man and woman working there went above and beyond for us, especially for him! They truly made his night! He got to play some music, wear a little Waffle House hat, and he told us he loved the food so much that he wanted to move in and never leave his new favorite place. Traveling from California to Georgia has been challenging during this grieving period, but their exceptional service made it a fun experience.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the food was quite good. Unlike the IHOP down the street, they actually had creamer for the coffee. For just $5, you can get a neat Waffle House souvenir mug. This was my first experience at a Waffle House, and it definitely surpasses the IHOP nearby. While I wouldn't say it's something to rave about, it's a significant improvement over the awful IHOP down the road.

The service was good, and the food was tasty but not exceptional. My main issue was that I didn't receive a coffee refill until we were nearly finished with our meal, and I tend to eat slowly. Consistent refills would definitely improve the experience.

The table service at this restaurant is exceptional! The night staff are truly the best!

The staff and cooks were very friendly. They got my order right and apologized for the slight delay. Overall, a pleasant experience!
