Smashing, friendly service and a big thank you to the fellas behind the counter. The full Scottish breakfast was hot, plentiful and tasty. At £16 for two breakfasts, toast and two teas, great value too. Thank you for looking after us

Won't be back.. Roll and sausage with onion was mediocre as far as food goes, I have had much worse. But £3.20, really! It's a shack in a car park, not the Ritz! There are numerous snack bars, which I will review shortly providing much better for a fraction the cost. Try £1.80 , lovely roll and sausage fixed site snackbar Melford Road Bellshill.

I've used this cafe for over 10 years and after today I won't be back. I ordered as I have done lots of times in the past steak and onions on toast, I asked for it as a toasties, with cheese this time. The lovely girl serving me happily obliged and proceeded to put my order through. After the order was placed and in the kitchen the chef guy(quite new) came over and the way he spoke to the server was absolutely atrocious. He was abrupt and almost shouting at the girl saying we don't do that, next time anyone asks for it tell them we can't, This was because when selecting steak as an option it didn't have a charge and the girl pressed to add bacon at a cost of £1.10 onto the toastie, it ended up coming in at 5 for a toasties but she was getting a grilling saying it would be more than that for steak, when steak and onion rolls are £3.10 But to blame the girl for doing exactly as she was asked to by a customer is absolutely shocking

While the toasted sandwiches and coffee at the Old Inns Cafe are of good quality, it is misleading to call it a cafe as the seating is limited to one table and three chairs. The website falsely advertises the premises as being larger than it actually is, leading to disappointment for customers like myself who were expecting a more spacious environment. Unfortunately, my party and I had to eat our lunch in the car due to lack of seating, which was not a pleasant break from our long journey. It seems that outdoor seating is available on a deck in the summer months, but this is not practical during the winter. A warning about the limited seating on the website would be helpful to prevent others from having the same misunderstanding.

My family and I stopped by this restaurant on our way home to grab drinks and allow my 9-year-old foster daughter to use the restroom. I ordered a hot chocolate, which I decided to transfer into a thermal mug for later. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to use the restroom as a grumpy lady informed us that they were already closed, even for a child. We were luckily able to find a restroom at a nearby gas station. The hot chocolate I had ordered turned out to be only lukewarm. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with poor service, low-quality drinks, and unfriendly staff.
