My wife, two young children and I booked a table last minute at the restaurant. When we arrived, we were met and shown to our tables within seconds. The staff were so attentive and took the time to speak with my children and make them feel welcome. The waitresses with the red hair and the brown hair are a credit to you. Even the chef popped his head round the corner to ask if my son liked his burger. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Despite the low cost the portions are very generous. We all left clean plates, which with two younger children is no easy thing to do. We will be back again. One minor constructive feedback the list of specials was quite long and we lost track of all of the dishes that were being explained verbally.

Popped in on a whim. A table was quickly made ready by friendly staff. Daiqiri 'mocktail ' (I was driving spectacular and tasty mixed strawberry mango. Turned heads from nearby tables. 3 courses: hot chicken wings not kidding! I was warned They 're spicy , and they were, but very nice. [Special] Fillet steak with haggis mash (I think it was called Highland Mist? . Superb. Steak was perfect, accompaniments just right for it. Fudge cake I can 't resist. Just right to end the meal. A very pleasant experience with excellent food and friendly service. Thank you.

Had 2 lovely meals here. Food is excellent and prices very reasonable. Wee gem of a restaurant. Would highly recommend dinning room.

Arrived after pre booking a lunch at 2pm , we had to park at the front of the premises on the pavement as the carpark at the rear was full. We arrived on time and had to stand for at least 5 mins waiting on a member of staff to show us to our table. This never happened and out of embarrassment as the rest of the people sitting were looking at us decided to walk to a table ourselves . A member of staff approached to check our booking , then we were told that the table had still to be cleaned, so we were left standing again , this was when we decided to leave and go somewhere else for lunch, where we were shown straight to a table and served lunch,

Great food at this hidden gem , parking round the back and the food is so nice and tons very high standard ! Staff no issues at all and the restaurant is very popular
