Indiawaale - NORTH LAKES

We were planning to try another Indian restaurant in the area but after reading Indiawaale reviews I suggested that we try it.Whilst the ambience is subdued it is clean and bright.The server that greeted us was charming and we got a wave from the chef through the kitchen window.We ordered tikka chicken for an entree followed by mains of chicken tikka masala and butter chicken.Accompaniments were cucumber raita, mango chutney, plain nan and garlic nan.We were served complimentary papadams which were the best that we have ever had with absolutely no trace of oil.The Tikka chicken was perfectly cooked - tender and moist.Both curry dishes were excellent and spiced correctly.The nan was fantastic.We also had some lassi, both mango and sweet and salty - both refreshing and delicious.Overall 6 stars and most highly recommended. We shall return

Back a year later and loved it. The goat curry is simply the best and the butter chicken excellent. This is truley a gem of a place. Well done to the chef and owners - we will be back again

My hubby and I wanted to try this Indian Restaurant as the reviews were so good. Well it was excellent one of the best Indian Restaurants I have ever been too the food was amazing. We ordered the Vegetable Samosas entree, Main was Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Kashmiri Naan and Mango Chutney. Tables were clean, service was great. Definitely a must if in North Lakes.

Such yummy food, freshly cooked and delicious. Gluten free was not a problem, they even made fresh gf naan. Highly recommended.

This is a new and hidden gem in the North Lakes area.I have been several times and the service and food is consistently excellent. Currently a BYO there is no corkage fees (now anyway).The curries can be tailored to your tastes. There is lamb, chicken and goat (no beef) curries. Nicely cooked and presented. I always go for the buttered chicken, great flavour and so well prepared. The staff are the owners (with an extra waitress) and are cheerful and welcoming. For authentic Indian food prepared well, it is a place hard to beat.
