I booked a cottage across the street from the pub specifically for that reason. I stopped by in the afternoon to see it, but they had no beer and the kitchen was closed. Instead, I went to the cafe next door where I found out that the cafe owner was a former landlord of the pub. I had a delicious, simply prepared meal there instead.

The success of this restaurant depends on the support of the villagers, who need to rally behind the young man who has taken over. He is a very friendly individual who deserves a chance to succeed.

I absolutely loved this pub for New Year's Eve! There were six of us, and the young bartender took great care of us all night. We had a fantastic time, although we were feeling a bit rough in the morning. We will definitely be visiting again.

Large, dog friendly pub. Reasonable choice of drinks and bar snacks available.

Great service and competitively priced beers. A great bar to catch up with friends or to come and watch sports.
