I'm heading out for lunch, and I have to say, the service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious!

We've been dining here since 1982 when we were stationed nearby. It's the best BBQ we've ever had!

It's not as beautiful as it seems! I've never had better grilled food in Sacramento or Roseville than what I had here, which might even rival the meals my grandpa and dad used to make, LOL! You can’t beat the charm of these small family-owned places. I regret waiting so long to try this one out.

Really great!. I was looking for an alternative to the usual turkey/ham Thanksgiving catering for our 24/7 office staff to be served on Thanksgiving day. Joe catered two turkeys, ribs, brisket, and a mountain of sides including stuffing that was simply perfection to almost all who had it) for a very reasonable price. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, brisket was great, turkeys were.... well, turkeys. I would never have ordered roasted turkeys if weren't Thanksgiving) Everything was spectacular and the restaurant is like returning to one of the off-the-beaten-track places I've gone to in Virginia and the Carolinas. This will be come a regular stop for almost all 20 of us who enjoyed his food. Hoping we can do the same for Christmas.

Keep eatn. Tried it once and can't wait to do it again! bbq ribs were a pleasant surprise. meat was tender enough and sauce was thick and smokey. the place itself was barren, no one else was there which was awkward. it did have a kind of old rustic feel to it though.
