Shore Acres Inn Restaurant And Bravo Zulu Lakeside Bar Restaurant

We have eaten at the restaurant a few times and loved the great food, and you cannot beat the lake front views while you eat. We can hardly wait until Bravo Zulu opens.

A wonderful, slice of Vermont and Lake Champlain. Not for the jet ski crowd but if you want to let go in the wonder of luxury country comfort...this is the place. New owners but same friendly welcome home service and friendliness. The food is working on becoming great. As all new efforts and seasons there is some calibration to perform but this new team will get there by mid-summer. We will be back. Thanks

My husband and I stayed at Shore Acres for the first time. We were very happy with the accommodations and the spacious grounds. The room was very good size and very comfortable and clean. There were so many places to sit outside, tables and chairs outside each unit as well as chairs and lounge chairs throughout the grounds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast, included in stay, had several options and the coffee was better than I've had at any other hotel. We ate dinner there both nights we were there. Most were excellent. One meal chosen was a sample of options for the upcoming Bravo Zulu lounge which I didn't care for because it was very spicy. Overall our stay was very pleasant. We would definitely choose Shore Acres for future visits.

The inn is located is a little out of the way for my liking. The best thing about it is the view of Lake Champlain. At check-in I was left waiting for a considerable amount of time before being tended to. Dinner was good but we had to wait for 30 minutes to be seated for our table despite we made a reservation. The contintental breakfast could be better. The accommodation was described as having lake views from each room but we didn't actually have a lake view from our room which was disappointing. The fridge makes quite a loud humming sound which can be disturbing throughout the night and the amount of bugs flying around the property is so bad we could hardly open the door to our room without being bombarded by mosquitoes, gnats and flies. It was very annoying trying to get rid of the bugs each night. Upon check-out I wasn't asked how my stay was and if everything was to my satisfaction which I thought was a bit strange.

Imagine a place you want to stay and everything is all about you, so it’s the right place that you want! It’s my second trip and I had an amazing time; view, buffet, dinner, high level hospitality and comfort. Jason and Kim; I feel like I know them for a long time and they are above and beyond! Thank you for everything. Highly recommend!
