One of the best diving experiences. The interiors of the restaurant take a back into time and the objects on the display that seem to collect over time tell a story that makes the experience unique. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the 20-minute drive from Ayer's Cliff with one of the best services we have experienced. I loved the soup of the day!
Desert was excellent, coffee was cold, tea was warm. Looks like they expected an important company, and we were an inconvenience for them. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Other Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Lovely place (lake view), great staff, good food (loved the bavette). Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$50–60
The ambiance is great. We went there after a long day driving around and I was wearing a hoodie with proper pants. We were definitely dressed the most casual of the guests there. The maître d’hotel welcomed us nicely but it’s downhill after that. All the waiters treated us really differently from other customers. No explanation of the food arrived, not even talking to my face when asking if I’m done with the food. We speak French but they insisted to switch to English every time we speak?! (We were speaking Turkish between each other and switching to French when the waiter arrived) I understand that it’s an upscale place but I find the service completely unacceptable. I’ve been to other Relais Chateaux spots before and this is the worst treatment I’ve had. I mean you get a better service at any other bar in Montreal. Now on to the food. Delicious salad, overcooked fish, heavy desert. We paid $210 for 2 entree, two main courses and a glass of wine each. Not worth it especially with this service. Sorry to the back of the house but your colleagues at the front of the house just makes this experience a less than mediocre one.
