This restaurant has been refurbished since my last visit. It is still a fantastic place, a hidden gem. The beer selection is a bit limited, but the atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

I am grateful for the delicious food I received as a reward for being nominated as a key worker in the competition by my mother. It was a wonderful treat and I cannot wait to visit your restaurant again once you reopen!

The owner, Bret, displayed disgraceful language and attitude, and the whole experience was an absolute rip-off. We had pre-booked a bottomless prosecco and cocktails party for 14 NHS staff at Folk Bar from 2-4pm for a leaving party. However, after an hour, the party was suddenly cancelled, even though payment had already been taken. We were then told to go to People's Bar for a glass of Prosecco, which they did not provide upon arrival. When one of the ladies questioned Bret about the cancellation, he began shouting and swearing at her in front of everyone. He then left, leaving his staff to deal with the situation. This incident showcased immature management and was a disgraceful display of behavior. The false advertising only added to the disappointment.

This restaurant is always worth checking out. You never know what hidden gems you'll discover.
