The restaurant is located in a charming, historic Grade II listed building with a fantastic ambiance. The food was delicious and the staff provided excellent service. They also had a wide variety of cask ales available. This was our first time dining here with our family, based on a friend's recommendation. The prices for both food and drinks were reasonable, costing just over £200 for a family of six, including two rounds of drinks and three courses. We would definitely come back here again. You can easily share a large pizza between two people, making it a budget-friendly meal. The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff and atmosphere are really nice. Shocking service if you're sitting in the bar area. Our plates were left on our table for 50 minutes before being taken away. One meal and one pudding wasn't available. The pudding took 50 minutes to arrive after I chased the staff twice, only to be told then that one of the puddings wasn't available. The member of staff informed me that there was only one dessert person on duty and didn't even bother to go the kitchen to chase our order. Surely staff shortage isn't a concern of any customer?? I emailed and complained and no one has bothered to respond. Very disappointed with Hunloke not value for money and overrated.

It's a nice cosy place good service what ruined the evening for us is when I had to nip to the car and my partner was still eating and I hadn't finished eating a staff member told all the other staff to watch my partner it wasn't said quietly it was loud enough for my partner and other people to hear it if he wouldn't of done that it would be a hirer rating Food: 3
