Jacksons Cafe Bakery Shop

My husband called at 11.15 for 2 breakfast cobs this morning and was told they had turned everything off as it was “too hot”. Granted it is very warm but you don’t hear restaurants or chippys not serving hot food because it’s “too warm”. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

As always great food great choice at low prices. Always my Cafe of choice when in the area! Eat in or take away and always worth leaving room or desert.

This cafe is really part of the main bakery/factory. Furniture is basically the same sort of aluminium you would use outside, so functional but not fancy. This sums up the service and food. Menu rests on the usual range of breakfast items during the morning, then a roast (pork) when we were there. Warmed peppered steak pasties were our choice, Service is slow because of the many pre-orders that are being dealt with by the staff. Cakes, pies and bread can be bought for takeaway at the small counter. Not cheap. Not dear. Not special.

I called in this bakery to discuss if they could organise some blue and pink cupcakes for a baby reveal party , the lady that served me in the chesterfield shop was amazing she noted the colour and a specific blue I needed and the cost was brilliant value for money collected the following week and they were just perfect!!! Thank you and will be back to order the baby shower cupcakes. This shop is amazing

Ordered a birthday cake short notice due to a let down for a 21st birthday, the lady we saw was lovely and helpful, when we collected the cake WOW it looked amazing, it was bigger and heavier than we thought it would be and tasted as good as it looked, amazing value compared to other cakes we have had we were delighted and will now get our cakes from here, the tea rooms were welcoming and the staff friendly when we went to collect the cake, people were eating and giving positive comments
