Best eat for many years. light place, nicely prepared eating and friendly staff.

The angel is a real small shade box. the interieur is old, beautiful. and very cozy. it is a charming little restaurant. they feel at home right away. the service is excellent and eating delicious. the menu is perfectly not a long list of elements, but enough to have a good choice of everything. we loved it so much, we made a reservation for the following week before my vacation ended. the two ladies are very friendly and helpful and the service is very attentive. the next visit to my friend in ilfracombe is to go back there.

My favorite restaurant, not only in ilfracombe, but everywhere. the whole food is super and beautifully cooked and presented. only open on Friday and Saturday, but always waiting worth it. great staff also.

Spending the bank holiday in Ilfracombe and Saturday evening was treated by a friend to evening dinner at The Angel restraurant.. I have to say it was amazing..I had a three course dinner .. chosen from the menu.. each course was a delight.. service timed perfectly.. thank you so much to my friend for choosing such a brilliant restaurant... can highly recommend the Angel. ... and will look forward to my next visit when back in Ilfracombe...
