Wooden Spice - NORTH CURL CURL

For the main course, my partner and I shared two dishes: a Massaman beef curry and a chicken kung pao. Both were excellent, but the Massaman beef curry was simply extraordinary—so tender that it melted in our mouths, with delicious potatoes and a rich, flavorful Massaman curry sauce. The portions were quite generous, and some steamed rice was a wonderful addition to both dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by our culinary experience at Wooden Spice, which is just a short walk across the park. We will definitely return and take advantage of their BYO option!

For nearly three years, I lived across the street and regretted not trying this restaurant. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. It might be the best Massaman curry I've ever had. I will definitely go back!

We made a reservation for a Saturday night, and it wasn't too busy, which was nice. The service was excellent. Our favorite dish was the beef massaman.

What a fantastic discovery! The service was excellent, and the food was incredible. After our appetizers, we tried the Indonesian Fish Sambal, and I could honestly eat that for the rest of my life! Next, we enjoyed the Wagyu Beef Rib with special sauce—truly on another level! To top it all off, we had the Stir-Fry Drunken Spicy Noodle, which was absolutely fabulous!

My whole family absolutely loves this restaurant! We frequently order takeout at least once every other week, if not weekly. My favorite dish is the satay with tofu! I highly recommend this place for both takeout and dining in. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
