Top Dawg Tavern Summerville

I really want to love this place. Local small bar with many TVs, a terrace, live music and good drinks selection. The only thing that keeps it back is the food. The burgers and fried pickles are really the only things I strongly recommend. No, I repeat, don't get anything with Brisket in the name. I tried several times, and it was terrible. Portion sizes were also super questionable last time.

When the waitress returned, she brought the children's ice cream along with the check. A few minutes later, she came back to ask if everything was okay, and I mentioned we were still waiting for the other dessert. After another 10 minutes, we decided to forgo the dessert altogether. I was then wrongly accused of not wanting the Bretzel, which was not the case. I ended up leaving without any dessert, and now I'm on my way home with an upset child who didn’t get his treat. It seems the manager was nowhere to be found. Overall, a very frustrating experience!

I absolutely loved the $8 lunch special available from 11 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. It's an unbeatable deal! There’s something for everyone on the menu, including salads. The thin fries are fantastic! The service was excellent, with the staff always smiling and being polite. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!

We had a fantastic meal and excellent service! I really enjoyed my nachos, and my husband loved his Tavern Burger and fries. Our children were thrilled with their grilled cheese and spaghetti, claiming it's their favorite restaurant! Our parents ordered the tuna, fish and chips, and peanut butter dessert, and they all said everything was delicious! We always have a wonderful time at Top Dawg Tavern!

I had the classic burger it was good good piece of meat and had they really good onion rings. Very nice place clean and servers where nice.
