Absolutely a hidden treasure, deserve a good reveal. I am very surprised that I didn't know this shop after I had lived in Cairns for over three years. I ordered Stir fry basil pork, Massaman beef, and Pad knee mouw. Unlike other Thai restaurants, the madsaman is bit watery, yet full with flavour. Stir fry basil pork and Pad Knee Mouw were spot on, exactly wok hay, stir fry smokey flavour, we were looking for. The atmosphere is decent and cozy, located far from CBD, hence it's bit quiet than other Asian place. However, it doesn't bother us. Worth to visit again. If you are a resident of Cairns, this store is really worth a try! For someone who has lived in Cairns for three years, I'm really surprised how I didn't know until now! My friend and I ordered Stir-Fried Pork with Holy Basil, Massaman Beef Curry, Pad Thai. Massaman beef curry is different from other Thai restaurants, it is watery but very strong! Stir-fried pork with holy basil and Pad Thai are really delicious! The wok is full of gas, just like the unique flavor of Chinese wok that we have been looking for! The overall dining environment is great and comfortable, but it is a bit far from the city center, so the lunch time is relatively deserted! But it didn't disturb our meal!
