Highly recommend this place, friendly service, amazing food and the fruit cocktails are to die for! Definitely a lot cheaper buying the dessert platter and every well worth it.

Mie ayam should be your signature dish, La Java. That dish is absolutely beautiful! The textures, the smell, the taste, the sambal, everything's in it is just gorgeous! It surely a dish that brings me back to Indo! If i could, i would give 6 stars!

Had dinner and lunch there this week and highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent value and good food cooked right in front of the shop, adding a nice atmosphere and delicious aromas to the dining experience.

Really enjoyed my meal, everything was cooked to perfection! They have a great lunch specials board, vegetarian options include gado gado vegetables and a vegetable laksa, they also don’t use MSG which is so good a sign that the Chef knows what they’re doing and doesn’t need to use flavour enhancers! The decor is spot on, very tasteful Indonesian textiles and comfy chairs, their music is also Indonesian I really appreciate this as music creates ambience.. I am really looking forward to trying more of their dishes, open every day except Monday for lunch and dinner is so convenient also.. !

Our favourite food in Australia now is Indonesian. I have spent the last 2 years reviewing Indonesian food from Cairns to Melbourne and Sydney to Goldcoast. And I have noticed that the most excited eating Indonesian food right now has distinctly peanut souce and rendang. Because much of what is on the plates would potentially get the great taste. Thanks, La Java! You rock!!
